Hey, there comic fans!
Welcome to 2026! We hope you had a restful and relaxing end of the year and are in bright spirits as we brave a new one!
And here at ComixTribe, we enter the new year bearing good tidings!
At long last, the deluxe 64 page BOOK ONE of Grawlgore & Shanks has arrived... and we're delighted at how it came out!
Over the weekend, we packed the vast majority of Kickstarter pledges and dropped them off at the post this morning, so your rewards should be in hand very soon!
As of this update, we're 98% shipped on the new book. There are still a few surveys not collected and one credit card left to process.
The only rewards that haven't shipped yet are the extra special pledges that include a JOE MULVEY original sketch cover... those books have been shipped off to Joe for him to work his magic on, and we expect him to turn them around quickly.
WE HOPE YOU LOVE THE BOOK... AND WILL JOIN US FOR THE NEXT ADVENTURE LATER THIS YEAR!

We can't wait to hear what you think of the book once you get it in hand. As you may know, John has already scripted well ahead on Grawlgore & Shanks, and in the next installment, you'll be able to tune in for devious new mysteries in fantastical new locations.
And to try something else from the Tribe, our first launch in the new year will be the next installment of our Superteen Action Comedy EPIC from ComixTribe publisher Tyler James and artist Matt Zolman!

Great news, friends! At last, the GRAWLGORE & SHANKS #1 DIGITAL DELUXE PDF is complete and now available to backers!
We used Backerkit to handle and store your digital files, and as long as your survey is submited and pledge is complete, you should have access to your digital files now!
And in more good news... Joe Mulvey is making great progress on the next Grawlgore & Shanks adventure, scheduled to release next year!

Hey, friends! It's the ComixTribe crew back with a quick Grawlgore & Shanks update and it's a good one!
Joe Mulvey wrapped pencils and inks near the end of October. Colors from JP Jordan came in at the beginning of the month and John has just sent a few final corrections to the letterer Shawn Lee on the book. We expect a swift turnaround on those, which means we look to send out DIGITAL DELUXE editions of Grawlgore & Shanks #1 to all backers early next week, if not sooner.
We'll also be sending off files to our printer at the same time, and since we're printing domestically, we expect a swift turnaround. We're thrilled to FINALLY be able to deliver this book to all of you.
We're up to 95% survey complete, leaving just 14 Backerkit surveys that still need completing. We'll be LOCKING Backerkit orders around the same time digital rewards go out, so if you need to update your shipping info or want to add-on to your existing order, you can do so with this link below:

Hey, Grawlgore & Shanks backers, hope you're doing well! We wanted to let you know that strong progress is continuing on Grawlgore & Shanks, with Joe working on the final three pages of the double-sized book this week. We appreciate your patience as we bring this thing to a close, and can't wait to get it off to the printer shortly!
In the meantime, we're seeing some of the awesome merch start to come in, including the acrylic standees!
In more good news, a few months back, John submitted the first chapter of Grawlgore & Shanks for Selkie Awards consideration... and it made the shortlist for Best Short Comic. We're thrilled that the team's hard work is getting recognized, and thank you all for helping to make it possible!
As we're getting close to the finish line on this release, we hope to be back shortly with your digital downloads and will let you know once the book is off to print! Again, we can't wait for you to sink your teeth into this series!

Grawlgore & Shanks Update!

Hey, Tyler James from ComixTribe here, with a Grawlgore & Shanks update for you, as well as some other cool stuff we have going on.
The good news is the Kickstarter double-sized edition of Grawlgore & Shanks that you helped fund is coming along nicely. Color artist JP Jordan is taking over the reigns from KM Russell for the second feature-length tale included in this 64 page deluxe edition and his colors perfectly compliment Joe's line-work.
Unfortunately, right now we're a bit behind schedule on the completion of this book. Artist Joe Mulvey has been dealing with some unforeseen issues on the home front, which has temporarily slowed his output... and we've asked him to take the time that he needs to not sacrifice quality AND to be there for his family.
Joe just dropped a new batch of pages into the team's Dropbox, and he only has a few more to go to get this issue wrapped, so we're not anticipating a long delay, but it's looking more like this issue will be a Q4 2025 release instead of a Q3 as project.
Again, we want to thank you for your patience and understanding, and we will keep you updated as we push this book to the finish line.
In the meantime, we've started ordering product, and the LENTICULAR covers just came through and are looking AWESOME!
We also can report that 90% of our BACKERKIT SURVEYS are in!
